Reviews and Ratings
Overall, my stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, despite being nicely laid out and decorated with a comfy bed and a view over the streets, were very noisy due to the road noise and early refuse collection at 4 am. The service from the friendly and accommodating staff was excellent, especially during late-night arrivals and at breakfast. The location in the heart of the old town was convenient for exploring but lacked a reliable Wi-Fi signal in my room. The dining options were satisfactory, with some hiccups like missing items but overall enjoyable. Price-wise, it offers good value for money.
The hotel is in a prime location steps away from the main tourist attractions in York. Although the rooms didn't match the photos, they are in need of renovation and were hot and noisy. The service was welcoming and friendly, perfect for solo travelers. The dining experience was good with delicious options. The location is superb, but noise from outside can be bothersome in the early morning.
I had a great one-night stay at this hotel. The location and breakfast were worth it, but the room hadn't been dusted for a while, making it feel a bit cramped. Overall, it was comfortable and clean.
